About us

Beginnings

‘From Little Things’ had its beginnings in 1994 in the Perth Hills of Western Australia where Tim Raddon completed his High Ropes Instructors course through Wilderness Playgrounds while working as an Adventure trainer.

From 1994 to 2003, Tim Raddon as a certified Outdoor Recreation facilitator worked for Wilderness Playgrounds Adventure Company. The company developed into a leader in Ropes Course Construction, and, in the School, Private and Corporate sectors with Adventure Training Services.

In 2003, with Tim’s passion for the environment and his love of trees, he decided to seek employment in tree climbing, working for a well-known business in the tree industry. Tim quickly grew as a confident tree climber progressing to a crew leader then supervisor using his knowledge and skills with ropes, climbing and the latest techniques in rigging.  He went on to be a qualified Tree Surgeon and was in demand as he obtained his Tree Pruning in Vicinity of Live High Voltage Power Lines Certificate allowing him to climb around all live power lines.

With 19 years of tree industry experience, Tim decided it was time to invest into his own business with a focus not just on tree removal or pruning but also in the education of tree welfare and management with his brother Ash Raddon. Together they are ambitiously determined to create a business that can cater for small private jobs to large corporate tenders, focusing on all aspects of tree environmental health.

What we believe

Our mission is to take great pride in the education of our customers. By providing honest advice, literature, and other learning materials to accompany our services, this not only helps keep our clients better informed, but also help our clients make better choices regarding the care and maintenance of the trees they love.

The reputation earned by Tim Raddon is continually consistent with an open core belief structure, that not only governs our methods in the office to on-site but how we also treat and respect our customers and staff.

Contractors untrained in the physiology of trees can severely damage them causing infections and infestations to the point of failure. In other words, correct tree care is essential for the maintenance of good health and safety.

It begins with our passion for trees and the quality of our business enterprise. Our staff will always leave the premises in a clean and tidy state. Our punctuality suits the needs of our customers and is the reason we can effectively manage our resources as a business. From consultation to executing the job at hand, a positive attitude, communication, and presentation, our focus is to ensure there is pride within our professionalism.
